Kladruby (Strakonice District)

Kladruby ( German Kladrub ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-east of Horažďovice in South Bohemia and belongs to Okres Strakonice.

Geography

Kladruby is located in a Osthanglage foot of the hill Divoš and Beranice above the valley of the Otava and Novosedelský creek in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest. History

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1405 as a possession of the parish in Pisek, two farms were the Spítal in Pisek belonging. In 1949 the parish was assigned to the newly formed Okres Horažďovice and came to its repeal in 1960 back to Okres Strakonice. On April 1, 1976 Kladruby was incorporated into Volenice. After a referendum Kladruby triggered on January 1, 1992 again from Volenice going on and formed its own community.
