Truskovice

Truskovice ( German Truskowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers south of Vodňany in South Bohemia and belongs to Okres Strakonice.

Geography

Truskovice is located in the southern part of the Písecká pahorkatina ( Písecké hill country). Surrounded by orchards village is located on the left side above the valley of the brook Malovický creek. To the east lies the pond Představecký fishpond, in the southeastern Šebestián. South-east rises the Lomec (552 m), in the south of Libějovický vrch (607 m), the southwest Skalice (604 m) and the Pohořelec ( 588 m), in the west the Hůrky ( 561 m) and the Holická (620 m) and north-west the Svobodna hora (640 m).

Neighboring towns are Záhorčí and Chelčice in the north, Hvožďany, Nový Dvůr, Nový Zámek and Libějovice in the northeast, Černěves and Nestanice in the east, Lomec, Malovice, Rabin and Holečkov the southeast, Krtely, Zeitun and Velky Bor in the south, Nová Hospoda, Dolejší Kovar, Borská Hájovna, U Dragounů, Maly boron, Trsovky and Šipoun the southwest, Stary Dvůr, Nový Dvůr Čichtice and Dlouhá Ves in the west and Libějovické Svobodné Hory and Křepice in the northwest.

History

The village's name derives from the personal name Truska or Struska. The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1274 in a deed of foundation, in which the Vladiken Rudolf and Budislav of Truskovice as witnesses. The latter was at New Year 1281 and participants of the regular stalls day to Prague, where the objects of the Kingdom of Bohemia again expressed their obedience to the Regent Otto of Brandenburg. As another owner of the estate in 1365 SETECH of Truskovice 1378 Zachar of Truskovice and 1384 of Petr Truskovice have survived. On March 6, 1384 Petr defended by Truskovice in Libějovice on behalf of Divis Malowetz Malovic the composite of goods in the country table. 1387 Mikuláš was mentioned by Truskovice and 1391 Habart of Truskovice as the owner of the goods. In the 15th century united the Knights Malowetz Malovic the Good with Libějovice. On July 27, 1562 by Dionys Malowetz Libějovice sold in other goods to Wilhelm von Rosenberg. He was succeeded in 1592, his younger brother Peter Wok von Rosenberg, the Rosenberg family in 1611 expired with his death in the male line. His possessions inherited Johann Georg of Swan Mountain. His son Peter was one of Swan Mountain during the uprising of the Estates of the leaders of the insurgents. After the Battle of White Mountain, his property was confiscated, and 1620 is by Emperor Ferdinand II the military leaders of Charles Buquoys for faithful service. The rule remained until the beginning of the 19th century in the possession of the counts of Longueval Buquoys. 1801 sold Johann Joseph von Buquoys possession of the kingdom of Prince Joseph II of Schwarzenberg, the 1833, his son Johann Adolf II inherited zu Schwarzenberg. In 1840 Truskowitz consisted of 59 houses with 439 inhabitants. 31 houses belonging to the reign Libiegitz, 24 to rule Fraunberg and two for Good Čichtitz. In Libiegitzer share was a tavern. Vicarage was Cheltschitz. The inhabitants lived on fish breeding and farming, especially the cultivation of hemp. Until the mid- 19th century, the village always remained divided between the Allodialherrschaft Libiegitz together with the Good Čichtitz and the rule Fraunberg.

After the abolition of patrimonial Truskovice / Truskowitz formed in 1850 with the district Dlouhá Ves / Langendorf a municipality in the district team Prachatice and the jurisdiction Vodňany. 1880, the community was part of the Okres Pisek. 1949 Truskovice was assigned to the Okres Vodňany, following the suspension of the place came at the beginning of 1961 to Okres Strakonice. In 1961, the annexation to Chelčice. Due to the natural and climatic conditions Truskovice was in the 20th century into a major fruit-growing area. In open areas surrounding the village of 1 967 orchards have been created. After a referendum Truskovice and Dlouhá Ves dissolved November 24 again in 1990 by Chelčice off and formed their own community.

The municipality consists of the villages Truskovice Dlouhá Ves ( Langendorf ) and Truskovice ( Truskowitz ) and the monolayer U Dragounů.
