Kleinaitingen

Kleinaitingen is a municipality in the Swabian district of Augsburg and a member of the administrative community Großaitingen.

It is located south of Augsburg in Lechfeld.

Districts

The place is divided into three districts:

  • Kleinaitingen
  • Gutshof Lechfeld
  • Lechfeld Nord (towel forest and Ulrich barracks )

History

Kleinaitingen has probably developed before 900 as a sister settlement of Großaitingen. The place belonged to the kingdom in 1803 to Augsburg cathedral chapter. In 1806 Kleinaitingen to the Kingdom of Bavaria. Hans Leupold, one of the major personalities Baptist, grew up here.
