The Office Lauenburg Lakes is an office in the Duchy of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. It extends along the Ratzeburg lakes to Schaalsee in Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park. The management of the Office has its seat in the city of Ratzeburg. A branch exists in the town of Gross Gronau, which is considered suburban settlement on the outskirts of the city of Lübeck, the municipality with the largest population and population density of the district office. In Sterley a civil office of the official management is set up.

History

The Office was established as an official Ratzeburg country with the original 18 municipalities. After the dissolution of the Office Gudow - Sterley took effect on 1 January 2007, the municipalities Brunsmark, Hollenbek, Horst, Small Zecher, Salem, Seedorf and Sterley office at.
