Kittlitz
Kittlitz is a municipality in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. In the township the goods Goldensee and Niendorf am Schaalsee and settlements Butz, Vogt caulking and Rosehagen lie.
Geography
The place is located in the territory of the Schaalsee Lake District of Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park on the border with the state of Mecklenburg -Vorpommern. Here you will find many features typical of the area farms.
History
The eastern border of the community formed since the Barber- Ljaschtschenko Agreement of 13 November 1945 to 1989 with the metal mesh fence erected behind a part of the "Iron Curtain", the East German border. In May 1990, the volunteer fire built a wooden bridge after Kneese in Mecklenburg, which was replaced in 1992 by a fixed bridge.

Since the local elections of 2008, the voters Community WHC has all nine seats in the municipal council.
