Bliestorf

Bliestorf is a municipality in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

History

The village was mentioned in a document in 1380 as " Blystorpe " for the first time. The name refers to the "Village of Blizza ", which is an old Slavic nickname. The farm and the associated village were temporarily in the possession of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, but came back in 1747 to the Duchy of Lauenburg. 1874-1928 were community legally separate estate and the village. Since 1888/89 the community is part of the Office ( formerly Office District ) Berkenthin.

The farm " New Bliestorf " was created in 1740 and goes back to the family of the Turf.
