Einhaus

Einhaus is a municipality in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. It is located on the west bank of the Ratzeburger in Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park.

History

Einhaus was in 1194 Isfriedschen sharing agreement was first mentioned as " ad unam domum " (a single house). In 1450 it was called then "tom Enenhuse ". Presumably, this " ene Hus " a customs house. 1791 Einhaus had 97 inhabitants in nine fireplaces.
