Harmsdorf (Lauenburg)

Harmsdorf is a municipality in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein immediately west of Ratzeburg.

History

Harms village was mentioned in 1230 for the first time. Until the Greater Hamburg Act 1937 Harmsdorf was an exclave of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Policy

Since the local elections of 2008, the voters Community WGI all nine seats in the municipal council.

Traffic

Harms village is situated on the main road 208, State Road 207 crosses between Harmsdorf and Ratzeburg. The Harms villages Cross was built at great expense in 2005/ 06.
