Buchholz, Lauenburg
Buchholz is a municipality in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. It is located on the west bank of the Ratzeburger in Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park.
History
Buchholz was first documented in 1277. It belonged in the Middle Ages and the early modern period to the Duchy of Lauenburg.
Policy
Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the voter community AWGB since the municipal election 2008, four seats, the voter community WGB 701 has three, and the voter community DWB two seats.

Traffic
Buchholz is located between the lake shore and the main road 207 Old Salt Road from Lüneburg to Lübeck, Ratzeburg in the little south of the national road 208 ( Bad Oldesloe - Wismar ) is crossed.
