Borstorf
Borstorf is a municipality in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.
History
The village was mentioned in Ratzeburg tithe register of 1230 as Borchardestorp for the first time in a document. The name probably goes back to a knight named Borchard or Burchard. Three castles on the site to have been destroyed 1291-1349 by fighting. The information from the traditions suggest that the former gentlemen belonged to the robber barons needle via Borstorf.
