Geography

Nuts is located about 40 km east of Hamburg in the municipality are the Ritzer Auer lake with a swimming area and the Hofsee, and the rolling Endmoränental the Steinau. History

The first mention was made in 1194 as advantage. As a parish it is included in Ratzeburg tithe register of 1230.
