Limestone (Maine)

Limestone is a town in Aroostook County, Maine, in the United States. 2010, it had a population of 2,314. The city is known for the Loring Commerce Center (formerly Loring Air Force Base ). The Loring Job Corps Center is also located here on the grounds of the Air Force base.

The band Phish was here a few concerts, which were followed by tens of thousands of fans.

The city is home to the Maine School of Science and Mathematics, a school that specializes in mathematics and science. The U.S. News and World Report rated the school as a zwölftbeste high school in the United States.
