The Lëtzebuerger socialist Esch Aarbechterpartei ( German Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party, Parti Ouvrier Socialiste French luxembourgeois ), short LSAP, is a social democratic party in Luxembourg. It forms since the 2013 parliamentary elections along with the Democratic Party ( DP) and the Greens a triple coalition. Etienne Schneider was Vice - Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Minister of Economics. Secretary of State is the former party president and Deputy Prime Minister Jean Asselborn. Party president was from October 2004 to March 2014, the mayor of Dudelange, Alex Bodry. In March 2014 Claude Haagen was elected with 77.66 % of all votes for new party president.
