Malíč

Malic ( German Mali Chen ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers west of the center of Litoměřice in rechtselbischen part of the Bohemian Uplands and belongs to Okres Litoměřice.

Geography

The village is located in the Plänerkalkbergen above Litoměřice. Northwest considerably the Strážiště (362 m), in the northeast of Bidnice (361 m) with the former lime works Richard, in the south of Radobýl ( 399 m) and in the southwest the Třešňovka (261 m).

Neighboring towns are Kamýk in the north, Knobložka in the east, and Veveří Třídomí the southeast, Michalovice in the south and Velké Žernoseky in the West.

History

Malic was first mentioned in 1276 as a possession of a Bojslav of Malice documented. 1413 was Christian von Vinné and Žernoseky, a follower January Žižka, owner of the domain. After the extinction of the race of Vinné alternated in 1456 from the owners and the village was divided. A portion was, together with Miřejovice and Hlinná to the castle rule Kamýk whose owners to 1628 was the gender of the Kamýcký of Lstiboř. 1651 was this part of the rule Lovosice.

Further shares owned since 1554, the rule Tetschen ( Decin ) and since 1787 Probsteihof Altthein of the diocese Leitmeritz. In 1800, Mali Chen had 335 inhabitants, of whom 177 117 were among Lobositz to Fideikommiss Tetschen and 41 for Probsteihof. 1910 522 people lived in the village since the Thirty Years War had mostly German inhabitants. School location was until 1926 and then Kamaik United Tschernosek. The municipality has always been a part of the wine estate Knobložka.
