Marco Mengoni
Marco Mengoni ( born December 25, 1988 in Ronciglione ) is an Italian pop singer and a winner of the Italian edition of The X Factor.
Mengoni won in 2009, the third season of The X Factor. Immediately after the success of his final song Dove si vola a rose to # 1 on the Italian charts download. The same seven titles comprehensive EP made it into the album charts.
In February 2010, he participated with the song at the Sanremo Festival Credimi ancora there and took the third place. Right after he published his second seven - track EP Re matto, with whom he topped the chart for four weeks. A live album of the same title reached first place again in October
In May 2010, he was awarded the contracts awarded by MTV Italy TRL Awards as Man of the Year. At the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010 Mengoni was one of five nominees in the category Best Italian artists. After all, he not only won the national decision, but was honored as Best European Act.
As winner of the Sanremo Festival in February 2013 with the title L' essenziale he could represent Italy at the Euro Vision Song Contest in 2013 and reached there the 7th Place.
