The Maroondah Highway (from Balwyn to Croydon and Whitehorse Road) is a highway in the southern Australian state of Victoria. It connects Balwyn (Melbourne ) with the Midland Highway in Mansfield north of Lake Eildon.

History

In the 1850s the White Horse Road was built as an important link road from Melbourne to Gippsland. It was a rather circuitous route through the Dandenongs. Today this task to the Monash Freeway and the South Gippsland Highway accept.

Course
