Ménil-Hubert-sur-Orne
Menil -Hubert -sur -Orne is a commune with 423 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Orne in Basse-Normandie region.
Geography
The municipality consists of two villages Menil -Hubert and Rouvrou. It lies at the Three Rivers Orne, Rouvre and Noireau. Menil -Hubert -sur -Orne is in the heart of Norman Switzerland.
Culture and sights
The church of Menil -Hubert has one of the most beautiful pulpits of the department. She is originally from an abbey church near Rouen. It was classified as a monument historique in 1968. The Church of Rouvrou was destroyed in 1150.
Economy and infrastructure
In particular, the district Rouvrou is strongly influenced by tourism. The river Rouvre is very popular among whitewater riders.
