Mercado Modelo y Bolívar is a neighborhood ( barrio ) of the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo.

Location

The composite of urban areas Mercado Modelo and Bolívar Barrio borders the district Brazo Oriental ( northwest), Cerrito de la Victoria, Castro Castellanos (both north), Villa Española ( East), Unión (southeast), Larrañaga and Jacinto Vera (both south ).

Infrastructure

The Barrio is, among other things, the hospital Policial.
