Michael Cartellone
Michael Cartellone ( born June 7, 1962 in Solon, Ohio) is an American drummer and painter.
Life
Cartellone began at the age of nine, playing drums. With eleven he made his first public appearance. During his school years at the local high school played in a band. At the age of 22 he moved to New York City, where he collaborated with keyboardist Eddie Jobson and the Styx guitarist Tommy Shaw. He was a member of the hard rock band Damn Yankees in 1989. In 1996, he was briefly a member of Accept. He also played as a studio musician for artists such as John Fogerty, Peter Frampton, John Wetton, Freddie Mercury, Cher, and Adrian Belew. After a brief return to the Damn Yankeey in 1998 In 1999 he was a member of Lynyrd Skynyrd. In 2009 he played on the publication of the former Faith No More singer, Chuck Mosley, on the title- Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food.
