The Montmorency Township is one of 22 townships in Whiteside County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2010, the Montmorency Township 2612 inhabitants.
Geography
The Montmorency Township is located in northwestern Illinois, in the southern suburb area of the city of Rock Falls. The Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa, located some 50 km to the west. The Wisconsin border runs around 100 km north.
The Montmorency Township is located at 41 ° 42'23 " north latitude and 89 ° 41'13 " west longitude and extending over 92.97 km ².
The Montmorency Township is located in the extreme east of the Whiteside County and is bordered to the east Lee County.
