The Albany Township is one of 22 townships in Whiteside County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2010, the Albany Township had 1076 inhabitants.

Geography

The Albany Township is located in northwest Illinois on the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa. The border with Wisconsin is located about 100 km north.

The Albany Township is located at 41 ° 43'59 " north latitude and 90 ° 13'29 " west longitude and extending over 33.15 km ², spread over 32.11 km ² land and 1.04 km ² water surface.
