The Fulton Township is one of 22 townships in Whiteside County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2010, the Fulton Township had 4251 inhabitants.

Geography

The Fulton Township is located in northwestern Illinois, on the east bank of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa. The border with Wisconsin is located about 80 km north.

The Fulton Township is located at 41 ° 52'59 " north latitude and 90 ° 08'04 " west longitude and extends over 55.4 km ², spread to 44.8 km ² land and 10.6 km ² water surface.

The Fulton Township is located in the extreme northwest of the Whiteside County and is bordered to the north by the Carroll County. On the opposite bank of the Mississippi Clinton County is located in Iowa. Within the Whiteside County borders the Fulton Township on the east by the Ustick Township, to the southeast by the Union Grove Township, and on the south by the Garden Plain Township.

Traffic
