The Jordan Township is one of 22 townships in Whiteside County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2010, Jordan Township had 899 inhabitants.

Geography

The Jordan Township is located in northwestern Illinois, approximately 50 km east of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa. The border with Wisconsin is located about 70 km north.

The Jordan Township is located at 41 ° 53'17 " north latitude and 89 ° 41'31 " west longitude and extending over 92.71 km ². From north to south the township is drained by the Elkhorn River.

The Jordan Township is located in the extreme northeast of Whiteside County and is bordered to the north by the Carroll, on the northeast by the Ogle and on the east by the Lee County.
