Mueang Phetchabun District

Amphoe Mueang Phetchabun ( Thai: อำเภอ เมือง เพชรบูรณ์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Phetchabun. The Phetchabun province is located southeast of the northern region of Thailand. The capital of the province of Phetchabun Phetchabun is also called.

Geography

The district of Phetchabun is located about 350 kilometers northeast of Bangkok. The city is surrounded by lovely countryside, the land is farmed intensively. In the surrounding area there is a beautiful, covered with rainforest mountains.

Neighboring districts (from the south clockwise): the Amphoe ( district ) Nong Phai Chon Daen and Wang Pong Phetchabun province, Amphoe Noen Maprang the province of Phitsanulok, Amphoe Khao Kho and the Lom Sak turn in Phetchabun province and finally the Amphoe Khon San Nong Bua Daeng and the province of Chaiyaphum.

Education

In Amphoe Mueang Phetchabun Rajabhat University is the Phetchabun.

Management

Amphoe Mueang Phetchabun is divided into 17 subdistricts (tambon ).

The city ( Mueang thesaban ) Phetchabun ( Thai: เทศบาล เมือง เพชรบูรณ์ ) Tambon Nai Mueang includes the whole.

There are also three small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Tha Phon ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ท่า พล ) includes parts of the tambon Tha Phon,
  • Wang Com Phu ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เมือง เก่า ) consists of parts of the tambon Wang Com Phu,
  • Na Ngua ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นา งั่ว ) covers the whole tambon Na Ngua.

There are also 15 " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
