Oswald Haselrieder

Oswald Haselrieder ( born August 22, 1971 in Vols, South Tyrol ) is an Italian former luger. His Doppelsitzerzpartner was Gerhard Steiner Plank.

Career

Since 1987 Haselrieder operates sport of luge. At the European Championships 1996 in Sigulda they occupied the second place in the team and the third place. At the 1996 World Championships in Altenberg, they took the second place and in doubles as a team and the third place in the World Cup Ranking 1996/97. A year later at the World Championships in Igls they reached the fifth place in the team to third place and in the World Cup Ranking 1997/98 she deteriorated a place back on the third place. At the Olympic Winter Games in Nagano in 1998 reached the sixth place and from then on it goes with the rankings up in the World Cup, World Championships and European Championships and down. The Winter Olympic Games 2002 in Salt Lake City they came only to the seventh place.
