Hans Brandner

Hans Brandner ( born February 19, 1949 in Berchtesgaden ) is a former German luger.

He is a skilled plumber and lived for a time in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden, where he ran a hotel with his family. Hans Brandner is married and has children.

Work

At the Olympic Games 1976 in Innsbruck Hans Brandner won with Balthasar swarm the silver medal in the doubles behind the East German duo Hans Rinn and Norbert Hahn. In 1979, she beat them in the World Championships in Koenigssee. Two years earlier, they brought in Igls already the bronze medal. At the European Championships she won one gold each (1977 ) and silver (1972 ) and two bronzes (1973, 1980). In 1978, the duo Second, in 1979 third in the overall World Cup. 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1979 and 1980 were the two for the RC Berchtesgaden starting athletes German masters.
