Othe
Othe is a commune with 31 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Meurthe -et -Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Briey and Canton Longuyon.
Geography
The community in the north of Lorraine, one kilometer from the French-Luxembourg border and 60 kilometers southwest of the city of Luxembourg. Through the community area flows the Othain. The Gwemeindegebiet Othe forms an exclave of the Meurthe -et -Moselle: it is completely surrounded by the territory of the department of Meuse.
History
Already at the Gallo- Roman period there were settlements here.
