FC Chernomorets Burgas ( Bulgarian ПСФК Черноморец Бургас, English Chernomorets Burgas ) is a football club from the Bulgarian Black Sea port city of Burgas. The club plays in the Bulgarian league. President of the association, founded in 2005 is Mitko SABEW. Ex - Bundesliga player Krassimir Balakov coached the team from 2008 to December 2010. Chernomorets Pomorie acts as the second team of the club from Burgas.

History

Foundation, Third and Second Division

In 2005, the club was founded under the name FC Chernomorets Burgas 919. The association sees itself as the rightful successor of the company founded in 1919 clubs FC Chernomorets.

In his first season (2005/ 06), the club played in the amateur league and qualified for the second ( professional ) Bulgarian football league. Since 2002, however, Mitko SABEW was also the owner of the second football club tradition of Burgas, the FC Neftochimik, who played until 2005/ 06 in the First League. After Chernomorets ascended to the second division, SABEW had two professional teams, which contrary to the regulations of the Bulgarian Football Federation. First League

Since the 2007/ 08 season of PSFC Chernomorets plays in the Bulgarian league. Next to him the entire management left the club. New sporting director was the lawyer from Burgas Plamen Kiryakov. On March 21, the new board Georgi Vassilev presented as new coach. He signed with the club a contract for a year and half. Under Wassilew the team was able to stabilize, but not to build on the successes of the first round. In the cup competition Chernomorets was stopped in the quarterfinals in a penalty kick drama of Slawia Sofia. Chernomorets ended the 2010/11 season in 8th place in the table with 37 points and fell short of our own expectations and goals. The Chernomorets project could not convince the fans, and the team had to deliver in a nearly empty stadium their home games.

On 30 May 2011, the contract was terminated with Georgi Vassilev. His place was taken by Dimitar Dimitrov, who brought the club from the third to the first Bulgarian league. In the summer they separated to different ways of almost all expensive, especially foreign players. For young and without clubs players were signed for the 2011/12 season. The winter break spent Chernomorets in 3rd place with 33 points, two losses and a goal difference of 25:5. The 2011/12 season ended Chernomorets on the fourth place in the table with 60 points and a goal difference of 57:23 and just missed taking part in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League 2012/13.

Fans

The fan groups are divided according to the residential areas of the city of Burgas. The oldest fan groups are the Italianzite (from the " Italian " part) and Alkosharks ( from the district Meden Rudnik ). In recent years, more fan clubs like the Blue vandals ( from the districts Isgrew and Slaveikov ) or the pupil grouping Blue Sharks Young Crew have emerged. There are also usually small fan groups that form the hard core, the so-called Ultras. However, they are united by the grouping BS crew.

The central fan club Blue Sharks maintains friendly relations with the fans of PAOK Salonika and ADO Den Haag.

The name Chernomorets Cyrillic Черноморец ( dt from Cherno more Black Sea) in German means about inhabitants of the Black Sea coast. The budget for the 2009/10 season was about 3,776 mils Lewa (about 1.8 mils € )
