Redleiten

Redleiten is a municipality in Upper Austria in Vöcklabruck district in Hausruckviertel with 503 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The municipality is located in the judicial district franc market.

Geography

Redleiten is located at 555 m altitude in Hausruckviertel. The expansion is 6.6 kilometers from north to south, from west to east 6 km. The total area is 14.3 km ². 74.1 % of the area is forested, 23.8 % of the area is used for agriculture.

Coat of arms

Blazon: In a silvery green, oblique wave beams, covered with a wavy red bar; above a silver Rehkopf in sight, down a silver upright ax, covered by a silver trim saw. The municipality colors are green -yellow-green.

The coat of arms granted in 1986 refers to the Rehkopf on the huntable population of deer, and with ax and saw on the important forestry in the community. The two silver shaft bars are for the Frankenburg and the Fornacher Redlbach.

History

Originally in the eastern part of the Duchy of Bavaria lying, was the place since the 12th century the Duchy of Austria. Since 1490 he is the Principality ' Austria above the Enns ' attributed.
