Rutzenham

Rutzenham is a municipality in Upper Austria in Vöcklabruck district in Hausruckviertel with 254 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The municipality is located in the judicial district Vöcklabruck.

Geography

Rutzenham is located on 421 m altitude in Hausruckviertel. The expansion is 3.1 kilometers from north to south, from west to east 2.7 km. The total area is 4.8 km ². 20.8% of the area is forested, 72.9 % of the area is used for agriculture.

Coat of arms

Blazon: A silver bar shaft left diagonally divided; Up In Blue a golden Endrautenkreuz, down in a green chamomile flower with golden slugs and six silver petals. The municipality colors are green and white - blue.

The municipal coat of arms was granted in 1984. The wave bar represents the central town of Bach, the local church to the Divine friend of children is symbolized by the cross. The camomile as a typical field plant refers to the agricultural structure of the community.

History

Originally in the eastern part of the Duchy of Bavaria lying, was the place since the 12th century the Duchy of Austria. Since 1490 he is the Principality ' Austria above the Enns ' attributed. For cost reasons, Rutzenham has partnered with the neighboring communities Pitzenberg, Pühret and Oberndorf bei swan city to an administrative community. The joint municipal office is located in Oberndorf.

Population Development

In 1991 the community had 239 inhabitants according to the census, in 2001 then 236 inhabitants. Thus Rutzenham is the place with the fewest inhabitants in Upper Austria.

Culture and sights

The " Expositurkirche Divine friend of children " ( Standort48.05419444444413.7035 ) was provided as the sole object of the municipality Rutzenham from Bundesdenkmalamt under protection.
