Reisstraße is an Austrian village in the Mur Valley district in the province of Styria, with 166 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). On January 1, 2015, in the context of the Styrian municipality structural reform with the communities Eppenstein, Maria Buch - Feistritz and white churches together in Styria, the new community will continue to use the name White churches in Styria.

The municipality is located in the judicial district Jews castle.

Geography

Rice road is about 15 km south-east of the district capital Jews castle in a valley of the Murtal, on the northern foothills of the Stubalpe.

History

The municipality tear Street was built in 1849 /50. The district court Jews castle was made in the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 together with the judicial districts Knittel field, shelter and Oberzeiring the district Jews castle.

Policy

The council consists of nine members and is since the municipal elections 2010 mandatary of the following parties together:

Mayor is George Hofbauer of the ÖVP.

Economy and infrastructure

According to Census of 2001, there are 10 workplaces with 24 employees in the community as well as 65 commuters and 6 commuters. There are 28 agricultural and forestry holdings (including 7 in the main acquisition ), which together manage 2,096 ha (as of 1999).

The recovered in Kleinfeistritz mining talk like mineral Leukophyllit is further processed into white churches in Talkumwerk Naintsch and sold all over the world.
