Revolution (cycling series)

Revolution is a series of track cycling competitions, which will be held in the UK since 2003. Until the winter season 2012/2013 revolution took place exclusively at the Manchester Velodrome.

The series consists of four competitions, which are held on Saturdays from October to February. The events are regularly sold out. From the 2012/2013 season, the revolution will in future only take place three times in Manchester and a closing ceremony at the Sir Chris Velodrome in Glasgow.

The concept

The competition was introduced in 2003, so the British cycling public can also see outside official competitions of international stars. It comprises around 20 races in quick succession, including junior race for the " Future Stars ". Since 2007, there is revolution in Australia, based on the same concept.
