Rückeroth

Rückeroth ( dialect: Reggert, Reegert ) is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of seltzer (Westerwald ).

Rückeroth is 1 km from Herschbach and 4 km from seltzer (Westerwald ) away.

History

In the border area of Engersgaues arose early on a forest clearing; Rückeroth was first documented in 1259. 1346 a high court was established by the Counts of Wied.
