Rwanda national football team
The Rwandan national football team is the football selection of the Rwandan Football Federation " Rwandaise Fédération de Football Association ". His first international match played the team in the late 1970s. 2004 qualified for the first time to qualify for the African Cup of Nations. At the World Cup finals, the team never took part.
From 1986 to 1995 there had been no international matches because of the civil war in Rwanda.

In qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil Rwanda met first in Return Game on Eritrea. After a 1-1 draw in the away game home game was won 3-1, making Rwanda moved into the group stage. There, Algeria, Benin and Mali were the opponents, but against which it could not prevail, and after four games had no chance of qualifying.
