1994 CECAFA Cup
The 20th edition of the CECAFA Cup, officially Palmares 1994 CECAFA Championship, took place from 26 November to 10 December 1994 Kenya instead. Eight Central and Eastern African teams played for the title of Eastern and Central Africa champion. Tanzania won his second title.
Game Mode
The eight participating teams from seven different countries played in two groups of four teams. The runners-up played against the group winners of the other group in the semifinals. The two semi-final winners play in the final for the title. The semifinal losers played for 3rd place

Group A
The games in Group A took place in Nairobi.
Group B
The first three matches in Group B were held in Mumias and the last three in Nairobi.
