1984 CECAFA Cup

The twelfth edition of the CECAFA Cup, officially Palmares 1984 CECAFA Championship, was held until December 15, 1984 in Uganda from 1. Eight Central and Eastern African teams played for the title of Eastern and Central Africa champion. Zambia won his first title.

Game Mode

The eight participating countries played in two groups of four teams. The runners-up played against the group winners of the other group in the semifinals. The two semi-final winners play in the final for the title. The semifinal losers played by one place 3
