1982 CECAFA Cup

The tenth edition of the CECAFA Cup, officially Palmares 1982 CECAFA Championship, took place from 13 to 27 November 1982 in Uganda instead. Seven Central and East African teams played for the title of Eastern and Central Africa champion. Kenya won his third title.

Game Mode

The seven participating countries played in two groups of three or four teams. The runners-up played against the group winners of the other group in the semifinals. The two semi-final winners play in the final for the title. The semifinal losers played by one place 3
