1992 CECAFA Cup
The 19th edition of the CECAFA Cup, officially Palmares 1992 CECAFA Championship, held in Tanzania in November 1992. Nine eastern and central African teams played for the title of Eastern and Central Africa champion. Uganda won his sixth title.
Game Mode
The nine participating teams from eight different countries played in two groups of four or five teams. The runners-up played against the group winners of the other group in the semifinals. The two semi-final winners play in the final for the title. The semifinal losers played for 3rd place in the group stage, the two- point rule was applied.
