1985 CECAFA Cup

The thirteenth edition of the CECAFA Cup, officially Palmares 1985 CECAFA Championship took place from 4 to 13 October 1985 in Zimbabwe instead. Six Central and East African teams played for the title of Eastern and Central Africa champion. Hosts Zimbabwe won his first title.

Game Mode

The six participating countries played in two groups of three teams each. The runners-up played against the group winners of the other group in the semifinals. The two semi-final winners play in the final for the title. The semifinal losers played for 3rd place

The matches of Group B were held in Bulawayo.
