Geography

Saalbach- Hinterglemm is located in Pinzgau in the east runs from west valley of Saalachstrasse, the Glemmtal. The area is one of the Kitzbühel Alps. History

The oldest evidence of a settlement are from the year 1222. Salpach The name is mentioned in a land register of 1350 as a designation of a Meier court for the first time. To these was the village of Saalbach, which was the economic hub of community area.
