San Antonio (Jujuy)

San Antonio is the capital of the department of San Antonio in the province of Jujuy in northwestern Argentina. It lies on the southern edge of the province and has 3,698 inhabitants (2001, INDEC ). " Perico de San Antonio " will be held for the first time mentioned in the Act 598 of 8 May 1663 in a contract signed at the Estancia San Antonio de Perico. San Antonio is known as the National Capital of Quesillo in Argentina.
