Seal of Palau

The Republic of Palau does not keep national coat of arms in the proper sense. Instead, the seal of the Parliament is used as the national emblem.

Description

The design of the seal is inspired by the coming of 1955 emblem of the Trust Territory Pacific Islands, which was in 1947 handed over to the United States for the administration of the UN Trusteeship Council.

The blue and white seal shows a traditional convention center, which will bring together the representatives of the people and held the common festivals. The 18 stones at the meeting house standing on the 18 Republics of Palau.

On the ring, which surrounded the seal is in the upper half of the Parliament in Palauischer Language Name: Olbiil era Kelulau, literally " house of the discussed decisions."

In the bottom half of the seal shows the country name in English: Republic of Palau.

The government seal, which is used by the president and the foreign missions of Palau, shows a similar, but details in deviant appearance.
