The Sense (French Singine, Freiburg Patois Chindzena? / I ) is a right tributary of the Sarine and border river between the Canton of Berne and the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Your source rivers that flow together in Customs House, the Cold Sense, which rises in the territory of gantrisch and the Warm Sense, which comes from the Schwarzsee.

The Sense flows through a 15 km long canyon, which is very popular not only among whitewater riders, but also as a lazy river. The most important tributary of the scythe is the black water.

After about 35 km the sense of Laupen opens into the Sarine. Since during heavy thunderstorms, especially in summer, the scythe can suddenly rise considerably, staying near the river is dangerous when the weather is uncertain.
