Steinau, Lower Saxony

Steinau ( Low German Steenau ) is a municipality in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony in the Samtgemeinde Hadeln and has about 900 inhabitants.

Geography

The municipality covers 36.07 km ² and includes the municipality parts Altbachenbruch, Norder Wester page, Southshore Wester page, Norderende, Glind, Lauenburg part ( after the noble family Laue, who had here in the Middle Ages land), Süderende and Höring.
