Toba (Mie)

Toba (Japanese鸟羽 市, -shi) is a city in Mie Prefecture of Japan on the Shima Peninsula.

Geography

Toba is located east of Ise and southeast of Tsu on the Pacific Ocean.

History

The city of Toba was founded on November 1, 1954 from the former municipalities Toba, Kamo, Nagaoka, Kagamiura, Momoroti, Sugashima, Toshi and Kamishima.
