U15 Group of Canadian Research Universities

As a Group of Thirteen, also known as G13, in Canada, a group of 13 universities is called, which together accommodate around 500,000 students. The relevant institutions are particularly active in the field of research, and together comprise about two-thirds of all Canadian research allocations. The G13, which included ten universities to April 2006, and was consequently called G10, took this year, the University of Calgary, Dalhousie University, the University of Ottawa.
