United Nations Security Council Resolution 152

Background
France broke on September 28, 1958, the colony of French Equatorial Africa. The Congo was just like the other parts of the as Gabon, Chad, and the Central African Republic on November 28, 1958 "autonomous members" of the " French Community ". On the same day Middle Congo was renamed " Republic of Congo " and independent on August 15, 1960.
Content
The Security Council announced that it has reviewed the admission of the Republic of Congo as a new member of the United Nations and recommended to the UN General Assembly to agree to a recording.
Accession
The Republic of Congo joined the United Nations on 20 September 1960.
