The presidential and parliamentary elections in Uruguay In 2009, on Sunday, 25 October 2009. There the president, the vice president, 30 senators and 99 deputies were elected. The candidates for the presidential election in Uruguay in 2009 were determined in the primaries. These primaries were elections that were carried out by the Parties in Uruguay to nationwide determine the candidates for the Präsidentschaftswahlzu. They took place on Sunday, June 28, 2009.
