Vacansoleil-DCM

The Vacansoleil - DCM Pro Cycling Team was a Dutch cycling team based in Rucphen.

Organization

The team was founded under the name Fonda Imabo - Doorisol 2005. 2006 jumped P3Transfer for Doorisol as a sponsor, we drove to the end of the 2006 season under the name Fonda - P3Transfer. In 2008, the name changed in P3 Transfer - Batavus. From its inception, the team first had a UCI Continental Team license as primarily and took part in races of the UCI Europe Tour. Since 2009, the team now went under the name of the main sponsor Vacansoleil and had a license as a Professional Continental team. Vacansoleil Camping is a tour operator with mobile homes on campsites with European headquarters in Eindhoven, the Netherlands and Germany office in Kempen.

In the 2009 season the team won a stage victory in the sixth stage of the Vuelta ( Borut Bozic ). In the 2010 season, the team could enter some success and was also successful outside Europe. Particularly noteworthy is the View of the Tour of Qatar in this year of Wouter Mol of there also won five of the six stages.

For 2011 season, the team received a UCI ProTeam license. So the team at all three Grand Tours could participate, but missed all three national tours a stage victory. However, some victories could be run at Paris- Nice and the Tour de Suisse. Thus, the team was able to prove that they can ride in this class in your first year after the revaluation yet. The year 2012 was not very successful for the Dutch team. With a stage win at the Giro d' Italia and three in Paris-Nice, the team was able to decide some important stages of the race itself, but overall victories were less retracted than the season before. But in the following year the team was not very successful. There were again less victories retracted than the years before. In the UCI World Tour since 2013 was able to achieve more success over the team and finished the season from the last place in the ranking.

After the loss of both main sponsors, the team was disbanded at end of season 2013. The team manager Hilaire van der Schueren takes over 2014 leading the team Accent Jobs- Wanty and assumes some drivers of his previous teams.
