Walt Disney Animation Studios

The Walt Disney Animation Studios (formerly known under the name Walt Disney Feature Animation, Walt Disney Productions and the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio ) is an American animation film and animation studio, animation and animated films, and television series for The Walt Disney Company produced. The studio headquartered in Burbank in California, United States.

History

Disney Animation departments, the starting point for many heart and of the Group were reopened after four -year break in 2007.

End of 2003, the Disney Animation Studios had been successively closed, as productions of Disney had ( The Treasure Planet, for example ) economically proved no more successful. In early 2007 announced the current management of the Disney animation studios, including John Lasseter, in his Chief Creative Officer, Disney's return to traditional 2D animation. In 2006 first considerations were raised to revive the animated division. The end of 2009 came with Princess and the Frog, the first hand-drawn animated film since Home on the Range in the cinemas.
